Bec Thomas is an award winning fine art photographer from Washington State. Photography has been a love and interest of Bec’s for as long as she can remember getting her first camera at the age of 9. Focusing on nature photography in classical black and white to bring the details of the Pacific Northwest into sharp focus; Bec’s specializes in taking photos in extreme weather, such as fog and wind to bring striking images to the hands of art collectors.
Bec resides on Camano Island, Washington with her husband, her 3 boys, 2 dogs and 4 cats (some of them are outdoor only). Her 3 boys often tag along on photo hiking trips as well as her dogs Demon and Blue.
Bec is currently a member of the Stanwood Camano Arts Guild, Professional Photographers of America and participates in various art shows and gallery events around the Pacific Northwest. She has also been a patron of Photo Center Northwest and Center for Photographic Art.
